Our mission is to partner with local leaders in impoverished communities around the world to strengthen their capacity and support them in affecting the changes that are most important to their community.

Our values include:

• Community-First: We keep the voice of the community at the heart of our work. We listen to communities and leaders as they define their goals, their needs, their plans of action, and co-create our role in their work through our community-based, collaborative approach.
• Empowerment- focused: We intentionally center community leadership and build opportunities to elevate their voices and their initiatives.
• Anti-Oppressive Practice: We are committed to practices and policies that push against colonial undercurrents. We work to not reinforce cycles of oppression, but rather provide opportunities to elevate the voices and power of others who typically have been silenced. We acknowledge the intersecting roles of privilege, power, and oppression in our work, and are committed to an ongoing process of self and collective reflection and accountability.
• Togetherness: We commit to a sense of unity and solidarity with our partner teams – sharing in joys, sorrows, challenges, solutions, and supporting one another through it all.
